The Prestige Technical Institute Nursing Assistant Program is a six-week course designed to equip students with the essential nursing skills required to work safely under the supervision of a licensed or registered nurse in a healthcare setting. The curriculum covers key topics, including the fundamentals of nursing, anatomy and physiology, infection control, and psychosocial needs, among others.

Admission Requirements:

  • A completed admission application must be submitted along with a non-refundable application fee.

  • High school transcripts or proof of GED are required.

  • Applicants must be 18 years or older.

  • A criminal background check is required.

  • Clearances from the Adult Abuse Registry and Child Abuse Registry are necessary.

  • Proof of COVID-19 vaccination is mandatory.

  • Physical exams, including PPD or Chest X-ray results, are required.

  • A drug screening is also necessary.
